Claims Process
In the event of loss or damage to your freight, follow the steps below to lodge a claim
Report the Incident
Contact the carrier within the stipulated timeframes to advise of the damage or loss of your consignment.
Confirm Loss (If Applicable)
If the consignment is lost, the carrier will confirm via a Loss Declaration. If damaged, proceed directly to claim lodgement.
Lodge Your Claim
Submit your claim online via the claim form. Upload all associated documentation including evidence of damage, packaging evidence, and invoices.
Claim Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email with a unique claim number once your claim has been successfully submitted.
Claim Review
The FreightSafe Claims Management team will review your claim. If additional information is required, a claims manager will reach out to you.
Claim Outcome
You will be advised of the claim outcome via email. If approved, the claim is settled and paid, with a Letter of Payment sent as confirmation.
